Your Pet's Story or Bio
It was 2015 and almost Christmas time when plea from PACC volunteers crossed my feed. It was for a bonded pair of seniors named Mia and Ruger. I wanted to see these two in a home for the holidays and so I went to pick them up thinking I may just foster. It was quickly realized, They would never be leaving. This sweet duo helped us foster over a dozen dogs. Last year Mia passed away, but Roo continues to bring us so much old man joy, and at 15 years old, his eyes shine as bright as the day we brought him home. Mia and Roo were the first seniors we adopted, and we now have a whole house full of them. They really showed us why seniors are so special, and they have inspired others to welcome senior pets into their homes as well.
