Jessie (then Biscuit) came into FOHA at about 6 months old, 18 pounds and not in the best of health. Fellow volunteers suggested that I should foster her as she reminded everyone of Cooter, the FOHA dog that I had at that time. I initially hesitated because I loved the older dogs and wasn’t sure that a puppy would fit into my life at that time. After spending time with her, Jessie came home with me into foster, became strong and healthy and a permanent member of my family and heart. She’s now 11 and I can’t imagine my life without her. She’ll always be my baby girl. 💕
