Most families can cope with the financial commitment involved in the day to day care of fur kids. However, those that demonstrate a need are faced with a much bigger issue when their pet is ill or injured, and has to be taken to the vet. We know that you don't want your fur kid to suffer because medical care is out of reach. All too often animals suffer needlessly or are put down because of expensive veterinary bills.
Created in November 2011, the Fur Kids Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that helped families with pets afford emergency veterinary care in Campbell County, Wyoming. Since September 2012, Fur Kids Foundation has helped 877 families in Campbell County, Wyoming and granted $176, 301.30 in emergency veterinary care (as of August 2021). FKF is completely volunteer ran, and we work very hard to make sure the money we raise is spent on the animals and families we help—in the last five years, more than 75% of those funds went directly to paying for emergency veterinary care. We cannot do this without you. Thank you for your support!
