FIX CHICAGO'S FOSTER DOG PHOTO CONTEST
OFFICIAL CONTEST RULES

The cost is $5 (non-refundable) to submit one picture and enter the Fix Chicago Dog Foster Contest fundraiser. If your dog doesn't make the final cut, your submitted photo will still be featured on Fix Chicago's website and/or future Fix Chicago social media content. Deadline for all photo submissions is June 19th, 2020.


There is a $5 entry fee for this Contest.

• To submit photos, click on the Participate tab above and follow the directions to upload a high-quality photograph of your pet and submit the required information, including a brief descriptive bio of your dog (100 words maximum). Entries must be received before June 19th, 2020, 11:59:00 pm CDT. You will be prompted to enter your credit card information during this process to submit your $5 entry fee.
• All entry and voting fees are donations to Fix Chicago. Funds raised will be used to award the prizes to the winning shelters and rescue groups.
• Once submitted all photos become the property of Fix Chicago and may be shared with sponsors for promotional purposes.

As an option, you can select a personal fundraising goal for your dog—this is not needed to enter the contest, however. When you're finished, click the submit button. Your dog's photo will upload to the contest site and you'll be shown the information you entered, including your dog's photo. If you want to change anything about your entry, click modify entry and change the relevant information. Otherwise, click continue to donation page to complete the entry process.


Note: To qualify, your dog must be a foster from a Chicagoland shelter who is represented in our Dog FosterShare Project Group during COVID (starting March 14th). If your rescue does not have representation of a foster in our group, and you want to enter to win, it’s not too late to have them join the 

Photos must contain at least one pet that meets the requirements listed above. Only one photo submission per entry fee, so give us your best shot. No refunds for photos that cannot be used

We will select one winner, determined by community votes, from photos entered in each of the following categories: 

1. Silliest Foster Dog
2. Laziest Foster Dog
3. Best Buddies (Shows Foster Dog with Another Pet or Human)

Entries will be accepted through June 19th,  2020.

Online voting will be open to the public from May 18th through June 19th, 2020. Votes are $1 each and, because this is a fundraiser, are unlimited. So, encourage your family and friends to vote for your submission!

• Your submission can win the top prize in its category by generating the most votes during the Contest period.
• Once a photo is submitted, it will appear in the online gallery on the Contest website and will be open to voting by the general public. Votes are $1 each.
• All votes for photo submissions will be tabulated and displayed online.
• To vote, click on the Participate tab above. The online voting period will end June 19th, 2020 at 11:59pm CDT.
• Ending time for the Photo Fundraiser will be determined by the host website's server.
• The top photograph from each of the three categories (Silliest Foster Dog, Laziest Foster Dog, Best Buddies) with the most votes at the end of the Contest will win the following 
• Winners will receive the following: 1/3 of the total funds raised will be donated to the shelter or rescue from where you got your foster pup and  Foster Parent Thank You Gift Pack that includes a customized pet portrait from Artishok Pet Portraits, a customized coffee mug with your dog's likeness from You Can Print, a Furever in My Heart Dog Memorial Keychain from Little Name Pieces, an All You Need is Love & a Dog sign from Petra's Custom Signs & Furnishings, and a customized hand-painted protective mask from Sassy Paws, Inc. The Gift Pack is valued at over $100.

All submitted photographs will be featured on Fix Chicago's website after the Contest period ends. Select photos may be used across Fix Chicago's social media platforms.
