A little about me...
Lucy was rescued off of the top of a house after hurricane "Katrina". My kids, Jack and Julie Ann, asked me if we could adopt her at an event at my parents home. We did! She had a 50/50% chance to live. Everyday, I took her for a walk around Starlight every day until she passed. I believe that is why she got better. She lived for that walk - rain or shine or snow! She did live for 14 more years. She was the only dog we ever had. She loved us and we loved her!
