A little about me...On a dark and stormy night, Samson ran off into the woods. What he was chasing, he didn’t know. Nose down, he pushed forward until he paused, looked up and realized …he had been abandoned!
All alone, Sam wandered with no food while the swampy mosquitoes swarmed. He didn’t know what to do when… he was picked up. Yay! Craziness continued as Sam was passed around - even lost his manly bits - and FINALLY landed with the HUMANE SOCIETY OF NORTH CENTRAL FLORIDA!
Samson came to us as a foster just a year ago. He wasn’t going to be here forever - he just needed to hang out while HSNCF treated his heartworms. Being a hound, he’s a bit loud and bouncy as he calls for the hunt - and he needed quiet.
One day Sam had a potential adopter. He’s older, so it was exciting that someone was interested. But - Samson lifted his leg and took aim at the adopter, ending the meeting and leaving Sam still there. We knew then his quirky, crazy was meant for us and we immediately Foster Failed.
HSNCF saved this boy. He’s the best natured, funny and happy boy and we can’t say thank you enough for him.
Samson appreciates your vote - it’s his way of giving back to HSNCF for all they did for him.
