Maggie came from the FLSPCA in August of 2011. She is semi-famous because she is the star of the children's book, "Maggie of the Crooked Lake," written by her owner, Gary Brown, and illustrated by Bonnie Mitchell. Maggie is 14 and still enjoys treats and short walks along the lake road.
