My husband and I decided to adopt a kitten when we moved in together. I knew I wanted to adopt from a shelter or rescue rather than from a breeder. We met Leo in the summer of 2017 at the SPCA. He was four months old at the time, and so lovable. We put in an application to adopt him but had to wait a week because he was being held for a lost period. I called twice a day about him in the meantime and visited a few times that week. We were so happy to bring him home. Leo has been with us through getting engaged, married, buying a house, and having his little brother (James). We hope he’s with us through many more milestones. He’s the best kitty we could ask for. We love you Leo!
