Darby was the runt of an accidental encounter between a dachshund and a chihuahua. She was originally bought by a couple as a present for their two year old child. They soon found out a two year old child is not a good fit with a puppy weighing less than one pound so she was returned to the breeder. The breeder advertised her and I swooped in and bought her for a reduced price. Darby is now 18 years old and still the love of my life. 🥰
