Rules

  1. Eligibility: Got a furry, scaly, or even finned friend you adore? This contest is open to all pet lovers! While we’re usually all about cats and dogs at Fayette Friends of Animals, we’re rolling out the welcome mat for all your beloved companions—be they snakes, lizards, fish, pigs, or any other critter! Just make sure you’re 18 or older to join in the fun.
  2. Entry Fee: Each photo entry requires a $10 donation.
  3. Photo Requirements:Keep it crisp! Photos should be high-res (300 dpi or higher) in JPEG or PNG format. Please, no watermarks, text, or logos—we want to see your pet shine! 
  4. Submission Period: Entries will be accepted from 8:00:00 AM (Eastern Time) on Sunday, August 18, 2024 to 9:00:00 PM (Eastern Time) on Monday, September 30, 2024.
  5. Voting Period: Rally your friends! Voting will take place from 8:00:00 AM (Eastern Time) on Sunday, August 18, 2024 to 9:00:00 PM (Eastern Time) on Monday, September 30, 2024.
  6. Voting Fee: Each vote requires a $1 donation. There is no limit to the number of votes a person can cast. (a $5 minimum purchase equal to 5 votes is required)
  7. Prizes: The top 12 photos with the most votes will be featured in our 2025 calendar. The photo with the most votes will be on the cover.
  8. Winner Notification: Winners will be notified via email and announced on our website and social media pages by October 10, 2024.
  9. Usage Rights: By submitting a photo, participants grant Fayette Friends of Animals the rights to use the photo for promotional purposes.
  10. Heads up: Photos that don’t meet the requirements or are inappropriate will be disqualified—let’s keep it classy, folks!
