How to Enter
All competition entries must be submitted online using the website platform:
www.gogophotocontest.com/FairfieldMuseumIMAGES2019.
You must
create an account in order to submit your photographs.
Artists in these categories may submit their work for consideration under the following subjects:
Landscape, Portrait, Nature, Abstract, and
Architecture.
Artists may submit up to 10 images as either a Professional/Serious Amateur or Student photographer (active student under 24 years of age). The museum will not accept dropped-off entries.
Image resolution and file size requirements:
- Resolution: minimum 300 PPI (DPI)
- File size: maximum 10000 kB
Images are submitted online, one entry and one payment per transaction. This avoids title, file, and photographer confusion. Each entry is paid for separately.
Do not attempt to bulk upload or bulk pay for your entries. We apologize in advance for the inconvenience.
Eligibility
Open to residents of Connecticut, New York, Rhode Island, and Massachusetts.
Deadline
All entries must be received by 11:59 P.M. EST (midnight) on Monday, January 14, 2019.
Entry Donation Fees
$10 per image entry. Entries must be uploaded separately and paid for separately, at the time of online submission, and through the online submission process. Entries cannot be submitted without payment.
Your entry donations support the Fairfield Museum's education programs. Thank you!
Viewer's Choice and Public Access
Entirely separate from the IMAGES 2019 professional juried process, submitted photographs to the IMAGES competition may also participate in the online "Viewer's Choice" donate-to-vote competition. Participation in Viewer’s Choice is entirely voluntary (a simple option selected during entry submission) and will in no way effect the selection of artists to exhibit or “Best in Show.” Funds generated by the Viewer’s Choice are used to offset the cost of this website.
The Viewer's Choice winner is a single photograph with the highest number of public votes. Votes are cast by making a donation ($1 = 1 vote). The winner of the Viewer's Choice voting will receive recognition at the opening of the IMAGES 2019 Juried Photography Show at the Fairfield Museum. Viewer's Choice voting ends on Monday, January 14, 2019. The Viewer's Choice voting, ranking, or winner has NO BEARING on the juried process or final selections of the IMAGES 2019 Photography Show.
If you DO NOT want your submitted photograph to be viewed publicly, or you do not wish to participate in Viewer's Choice option, please be sure to select the "opt-out" options during your photograph's submission process!
