Sammon was the 7th puppy born to a litter of 7 the same week my young son learned to count to 7. When we showed my son the puppies, he counted, "one, two, tee, poor, pibe, six, sammon!" and the name stuck. When his belly is rubbed, Sammon turns into a Wookiee. His mother is a beagle who already had a spay appointment scheduled when a neighborhood terrier had other plans; as a terrier / beagle mix, Sammon has floppy ears and non-shedding fur. He loves long walks in the park and meeting new people, but hates bicycles. He collects socks, cutlery, and bones and "buries" them in the couch cushions.
