Jack was a rescue. He was older when we adopted him and also had heartworm. He was treated for the heartworm and neutered before we brought him home. He chose us by peeing on my daughter's car seat when we first met him. These days he enjoys long walks at the lake, camping, and sleeping in our bed under the covers.
