Found under the deck of an old building, these boys fought with unwavering spirit through panleukopenia and subsequent special needs. They never let their disabilities stop them from being playful goofballs and living their short lives to the fullest. Nicknamed my "son"shines because of the light and love radiating from their eyes. They taught me how I needed to keep living with that same enthusiasm despite my own disability and... to never take for granted a lovely nap in the glow of a Christmas tree.
