Tell us a little about your pet?
This sweet trouble-maker has no idea that she's getting into mischief. She is a 1 & 1/2 year old husky/malamute mix we rescued one year ago. She is so energetic and playful, but has the sweetest demeanor. She loves kids and other pups. One of her favorite things to do is explore the New Mexico wilderness. She is always ready for belly rubs.

Tell us your pet's favorite trick or if there are any unique things that your pet can do?
She is a somersault champion, but although she does this all the time, we still haven't been able to have her do this on command.

Why should your pet be crowned the 2025 Pet Pageant Champion?
Juneau is a perfect example of how much love and loyalty our doggy family members can have. When we first met her, she was scared to go through doorways. She had no idea what a collar or leash was for, and she would run away, frightened when they were presented. She showed cowering fear with tall people or anyone wearing a hat. But with many walks, many treats, and many days of simply showing her how special she is to us, she has been able to bloom. Now, she struts proudly on her leash, greets guests with a wagging tail, and trusts in the love that surrounds her every day. She's our brave, gentle girl and a daily reminder of the healing power of patience and kindness.
