Calais is named after the City of Calais in Maine. We wanted her name to reflect the Maine Coon cat's heritage. She is a very sweet, loving girl.

Calais enjoys running down the hall from one end of the house to the other end. She also likes to sit in a window watching the birds and squirrels.

She has recently been diagnosed with mild hip dysplasia and mild osteoarthritis. She will be on supplements for the rest of her life. Luckily, she finds them yummy.
