Ash (Ashleigh Optium Pride Amadeus Wolfgang R. III Esq. First of his Name, Mouser of Mices and Protector of the House) AKA Asher the Catter, is the majestic house lynx who joined our family this summer. We were looking for a cat good with kids, dogs and road trips, and after a few years with ECMCR, we found the purrfict match.

This dapper sir is only 1 year old he effortlessly integrated into the family immediately. His boys love him, and he is incredibly gentle and patient with them. His 4yo skin-brother says he is "so cute" and "i love how he stays on his scratching post when I'm in my lego area." They enjoy playing with feather sticks together, he encourages Ash to aim high in athletic jumps. His doggy sister is a goof, with butterflies in her head, who's still figuring out how to play with him.

He has an issue with his eyelids which will require care for the next few years as he grows but he is cooperative with his daily eye treatment and grooming.

Ash is an ambush predator, excelling at catching flies, moths, buzzing bugs and even once an errant bird that flew into the house.

He can not be trusted around croissants, he will steal them from your hand. We look forward to learning more of his quirks as he grows up.
