Your Cat's Story or Bio
Leonardo "Leo" was a rescue cat from East Windsor, NJ October 2005. He was my life, my heart and soul. ❣️He was about 5 weeks old and scrawny when we brought him home. We did not know what breed of cat he was until a few months later when his tail started to puff! The vet said he had mainecoon in his DNA. We have an African Grey parrot and were not sure how that would work but it did. They became best friends. Our parrot meows like Leo so if we weren't in the room we didn't know which one it was. Lol. Leo came into my life while my mom was dying. He gave me so much love and attention and made me smile through the pain. Leo ruled the house. We spoiled him rotten. So many heartfilled memories. He got sick a couple of years ago and I was working remotely due to covid19. He was the best coworker, coming into my office for food or attention. He'd lay next to my desk or on my lap and work with me. He video bombed a meeting or two. He was my best friend he is my heart ❤️ He was not doing well by November 2021 and the vet agreed with me it was time. I contacted a wonderful organization called Lap of Love and they came to our home so Leo could go over rainbow bridge at home with his favorite stuff. It was the last act of love we could do for him. I was going to enter him for the contest last year but I missed the deadline. He was so curious, funny, loved playing with poker chips. He was a good cat, never got into major trouble. He was our baby for 16 years. My heart still breaks. I would love to have him honored on a calendar. Thank you for considering Leo.
