Red Hen patrols my yard every day, she even made her own nest in the bushes and raised a brood of 6 chicks this past summer. She's protective and productive and contributes regularly to the household (in the form of delicious free-run eggs). Plus she just looks really cool! Look into her eyes and tell me Red Hen doesn't mean business!
