Minister of Justice
Tell voters why your animal deserves to be nominated for the CabinetSophie is a lovely, quiet tortoiseshell cat. Her early life story is a mystery, but somehow she became a stray with a broken tail, and she was very skinny. I rescued her from a shelter, where she had been kept for three months because the staff figured that she would be a wonderful family member. They were right! Sophie was perhaps 2-1/2 years old when I adopted her.
We consider that justice was done when the shelter kept her up for adoption longer than most (she was a "second chance cat" they said), and Sophie was very grateful. Her experience with a difficult life - being rescued, saved and protected because of someone's sense of justice in making her a "second chance cat" and being loved by her new human (me) - makes her a strong candidate for Minister of Justice. Remember: Sophie's name is related to Sophia -- σοφία, Greek for "wisdom." She's all that, cat.
