After my cat of 16 years died, I searched everywhere for a little grey kitten. It was mid-winter, and not kitten season. One day a volunteer at DDFL asked why I was there every day. I told her what I was looking for. She said that 'Lynn' was fostering some kittens and they would be in the next day. The following day I was at the door as the shelter opened. I got to the adoption desk and there they were. Sally weighed 2#, and was everything I had been wishing for. When we got home, there was no adjustment period. Sally bonded immediately with my two French Bulldogs. She now runs the house, and has stolen my heart.
