Your Pet's Bio/Story
Elliot was adopted from Table Mt. shelter in 2008. He was less than a year old at the time and had already experienced much. He was a 3 legged dog with a healed stump. He had probably been hit by a car when he was very young. In 2010 he was diagnosed with autoimmune ITP. Then in 2013 he tore his ACL on his only back leg. Surgery went well but post-op was very ruff! In 2014 the arthritis in his remaining back leg began to increase. Acupuncture has helped. Despite all this, Elliot still has a super happy, can't wait to meet you attitude. He's an inspiration for all. There isn't anything I won't do for him - he deserves it. We've started evaluating him for a leg brace. He is a Lab/Dalmation/Ridgeback mix and a joy everyday!
