Meet Rylee, the corgi who has mastered the art of avoiding hikes. With the heart of a couch potato and the legs of a sausage, this corgi has perfected the art of "putting on the brakes" at the mere sight of a trailhead. As soon as she senses a hike coming, Rylee flops down, her short legs splayed out, and gives her owners a look that says, "You can go ahead, I’ll be here when you get back."
Her owners have resorted to carrying her in a special backpack, like the royalty she believes she is. The attached picture shows Rylee enjoying the outdoors like she’s taking credit for the hike—when in reality, her owners did all the work getting her there! Once she finally touches down, it’s clear she’s more interested in basking in the scenery than breaking a sweat.
