Your Pet's Bio/Story
Zorro was adopted from DFL in October 2012. He died in July 2022. I learned that he loved to swim when, upon seeing the Colorado River for the first time, he jumped out of my truck and straight into the water. He was terrified of my cat and wouldn't walk up the stairs if she was sitting on them. He often slept on the hard floor so as not to disturb her on his bed. He loved hiking and camping, and hiked 10 14ers. This picture is from our last backpacking trip together. I am grateful DFL helped me find such a wonderful friend. He was deeply loved and will be sorely missed.
