Your Pet's Bio/Story
We adopted Charlie from the DDFL in 2020 during the pandemic. This handsome boy was 8 years old, transferred to Denver from Oklahoma, heartworm positive, and had been in a run-in with a porcupine....many quills had been removed from his neck and face. We were told he'd been a favorite of the staff at the DDFL, but sadly hadn't gotten much attention from people coming through.
We hadn't been with him more than a couple of minutes and we knew he had a new forever home. There could not be a sweeter, happier, goofier, guy than our sweet Charlie. We still can't believe how lucky we are to have him in our lives. A huge thank you to the counselor that day who asked if we wanted to meet her favorite little guy. The best soul on 4 legs EVER! ❤️
