Your Pet's Bio/Story
Kallie is not a rescued dog. She is a fur baby we planned for after having rescued several amazing dogs. We had our Trudy who came to our open arms from Safe Harbor Lab Rescue. As Trudy showed signs of aging, we thought she would make the perfect, and I do mean perfect, mentor for a young pup. So we began the process of committing to our pup. But alas, it was not meant to be. Our precious Trudy declined rapidly from a malignant brain tumor and left us one short week before we welcomed Kallie into our arms and home and hearts, a bittersweet event. We know Trudy would have been a pro at showing Kallie the ways of humans. RIP, Trudy. You will always live in our hearts. You have taught us what it means to love unconditionally. We will pass this on to Kallie.
