Doberman's Story or Bio
Jasmine was rescued by NM Doberman Rescue in November, 2020. We had lost our last Dobie in 2018 and since retirement was nearing, we decided to hold off getting another dog so that we could travel overseas. But then COVID happened and in November 2020, on our morning walk, we decided we couldn't live without a dog. "Jazzy" was meant to be adopted by us. She had been on the street with her Mother and her 3 siblings when the animal shelter found them. They had ringworm and were very hungry. Within 2 days of contacting NM Doberman Rescue, we had this feisty, stubborn, and cuddly 8 week old puppy. This photo is of her on my yoga pillows while I am laying on my yoga mat.
