Your Pet's Story or Bio
Lillyanna was brought into DRM shortly after one of the hurricanes down south. I had recently lost my beloved girl Henry whom I had adopted through DRM & was doing volunteer work performing home visits. Lurp as I've renamed her (Army Rangers reference) was traumatized, had little training, poor socialization, wasn't fitting in at her foster home, also our DRM foster system was full. I was approached about taking her to work with & train. The first month or so she was unresponsive....then she started to come around. Well as many people do, I ended up "foster failing" & adopted her. I drive OTR semi & we spend 24/7 together. I'm an outdoor adventurer & as you can see she has become one too! We have been to every state West of the Mississippi together plus most everything East except the New England states. Photo this week in Washington State.
