I had just lost my dachshund, Zeus, after fifteen years. I searched a local no-kill shelter two days after losing him and came across Mickey. I went to visit him at the shelter and we both hit it off. So I completed all the paperwork and took him home three days later. That was 4 years ago and neither one of us as ever looked back.
