Scarlet and her puppies were rescued from a kill shelter in Oklahoma. Scarlet had been surrendered with her litter and when the puppies were weaned she was placed up for adoption. The rescue posted Scarlet's photo on Facebook in the hopes of finding her a home. Well, just one look and I was on the phone. I was told she was a loner and not housetrained but I didn't care. There was something in her eyes that said she belonged to me. Two weeks later she arrived in NJ from Oklahoma and it turns out we are soul mates. Scarlet never messed in the house and she never leaves my side. She is a model of loyalty, obedience and unconditional love.
