In memory of Uschi the Weena who spent the majority of her life exploring the joys of being a doxie. She mastered the art of taking up the widest dimensions of a king-sized bed. She couldn't sit, speak, or roll over . . . but she could smell a piece of cheese from across the room and had a masterful disappearing act whenever she knew I was setting up for her bath.

Uschi took seriously her call to protect. She never let the doorbell ring without direct intervention, and always warned us when the winds were high or when someone walked past our home.

Uschi loved deeply, snored loudly, and always let her thoughts be known. Her affection for her people was as intense as her affection for their ice cream.

She lived a long life full of love and treaties and is lovingly remembered, and deeply missed. ❤️
