Karl is a DRBC rescue. I was watching intakes on weekends & was immediately taken with him! He is so friendly! His tail goes constantly & he looks like he’s smiling.
Little did I know that he would come to live with me. I had lost my little dachsie girl & was heartbroken. Some folks wait a long time in between, but I knew I needed a dachsie in my life & wanted it to be a rescue. It is the right thing to do! I started watching the DRBCHour regularly & eventually applied. I was accepted & came up to meet what I thought would be 2 dogs. Karl was the only one! We bonded immediately. He is so smart! And he continues to be friendly. He greets everyone! He has claimed the yard & all the toys.
I applied for him to be an ESA dog & was accepted!
