Contest Rules and Timeline
Entering a Photo
- Please submit a photo your pet(s) by registering for an account online. There will be instructions for how to upload your photo once you register.
- All entries must be done online. If you need help, you can email events@dovelewis.org. Offline entries will not be accepted for voting.
- The entry fee is $5 minimum donation.
- Your photo may contain more than one pet.
- Online entries can be submitted between Sunday, August 4 at 8am - Saturday, August 31 at 8pm.
- Pro tip - register your pet before voting begins on Sunday, August 18, so they have as much time to earn votes! You can submit your photo as early as 8am on Thursday, August 4th.
- Once entered, photos become the property of DoveLewis Emergency Animal Hospital for print and marketing purposes.
Rules – Voting
- Online votes for photo entries begin on Sunday, August 18 at 8am.
- Online votes for photo entries must be submitted before the contest close on Saturday, August 31 at 8pm.
- $1 donation = one vote. All votes are to take place online.
- Please save your email as your official receipt for tax purposes.
- If you have questions about offline donations, prior arrangements must be made by emailing kgriffey@dovelewis.org and must be received in hand by August 28, to hour hospital on NW Pettygrove.
Tips to get your pet votes
- Start early - share the link with your social networks so your friends and family can vote when voting opens on Sunday, August 18 at 8am.
- Kick-start your pet's votes when you enter them by voting!
- Text 5 friends with your pet's voting page so they can vote for your pet.
- Send voting information to your colleagues at work!
- Include the link to vote on your signature line so your friends/family see it, and the wonderful impact they will make to support DoveLewis when voting.
Prizes Rules
- Prize pick-up. If you are a winner of a prize that is a gift card, we will mail it to you or put you directly in touch with the contact to set-up your prize.
- If you have received a physical item, such as a toy basket, pick-up arrangements must be coordinated and picked-up by September 30, at our hospital on Pettygrove. In a case by case basis we can arrange pick-up in the Clackamas area, or Sellwood, based on staff availability.
- For prizes that are service based, scheduling is dependent on the availability and schedule of the vendor.
- Please note: If you decline your prize, it will be offered to the next in line, starting with the third-place winner.
