Two years ago, our two 15 year old cats Scooter and Jackson passed away, and I wanted to get a dog for my daughter Lila to cheer her up. Since we had just lost the cats, I thought getting Emmett would help her feel better. Also that same year, I had my third hip surgery and realized I needed to move around to recover and walking a dog would motovate me to do so. Emmett was the best thing for our family. He helped heal our broken hearts and he helped me recover from surgery by making me walk and keeping me company when I was bored at home because I couldn’t move very efficiently. Emmett is very devoted and protective of us all. He loves to run run like the wind, especially, when he plays frisbee. He loves yogurt, peanut butter, and biscuits!
He is my furry son.
