Bella was part of a litter that was being starved and left tied to a fence in North Carolina. Out of 6 puppies, only 2 survived, Operation Paws brought her and her brother to a foster home in VA but everyone wanted her brother. He was all white and she has black markings, I think are beautiful. I was new to VA, looking all the time for a dog when I came across her face online. I immediately got in my car and drove almost two hours that very night and took her home with me, skinny, scared but so sweet. Since then we have never been apart. She is 110 lbs now, but goes everywhere with me & is the love of my life.
