I grew up in my folks' frame shop and have always had an appreciation for art. My friend Jill is on the board and mentioned this event, it spoke to me. Classic art is timeless and to me always has a message. So why would a 50 yr old woman choose to replicate a young boy via a cell phone selfie? Why not? We all have a kid inside us and what is more today than the proverbial selfie. With all the chaos in the world, we all long for those simpler times when our hardest decision for the day was what trouble we were going to get into. Innocent trouble of not cleaning our rooms, not eating our veggies, or ignoring our parent's call to come inside for dinner.
