1.) Photos must be of dogs only – no people or other pets will be considered (we love your other pets and look forward to having them participate in other activities, but for this contest we request dogs exclusively).
2.) All entries must be local to the Kansas City Area in order to qualify for the grand prize photo shoot to be featured on our holiday greeting card. While our photographer would love to meet your dog and give you an amazing photo shoot, we must keep the entries local in order for this to happen. For this reason we ask that all entries live in a maximum 25 mile radius outside of Kansas City, MO. Dogs by Debin reserves the right to disqualify any participants not meeting this requirement. The photo shoot will need to take place in the two weeks following the contest’s end so that greeting cards may be ordered.
3.) Your dog does not have to be a shelter animal to qualify.
4.) You may enter as many photos as you want. However, remember that concentrating votes to one photo will increase your chances of winning!
5.) Once a photo is submitted it will appear in the contest gallery and be open to voting by the general public. Entry will require a $5.00 donation to Dogs by Debin. Each vote requires a minimum donation of $1.00 to Dogs by Debin.
6.) All submissions must be done electronically through the contest photo website.
7.) Dogs by Debin reserves the right to decline publication of any photo for any reason. If we decline your photo, you will be notified and your donation will be refunded. We will not accept photos displaying profanity or animals clearly in distress.
8.) Copyrighted or professional photos must be accompanied by authorization from the photographer.
9.) All photos become property of Dogs by Debin and each submitted photo can be used on Dogs by Debin’s website, social media, and in advertising and promotional materials without compensation or permission.
10.) The contest will begin 9am CST on Monday, Jan 5th – Friday, Jan 30th, 2015 ending at 7pm CST
