Rules

OFFICIAL RULES:

Photo entries must be of a Doberman. Your entry does NOT have to be a rescue dog. We LOVE all Dobermans and welcome entries from all Doberman lovers.
There is a $5 minimum donation to enter the contest.
Reserve a Day to Honor your Doberman! Want a guaranteed spot in the calendar? Reserve a day to honor your Doberman. Your Doberman’s photo will appear on the day of your choice. Just choose your favorite photo and then choose the day and donate! First come first served! Once a date has been reserved, it will no longer be available. Each day is $10.
Each winning entry that is selected to print in the calendar receives a free calendar.
Once a photo is uploaded, it will appear in the online gallery on our website and be open to voting by the general public. Votes are $1 each, with a $5 minimum donation (5 votes). Voters do not have to use all of the votes at the time of donation. When voters donate, they will be given the option of applying all of the votes to one photo, spreading their votes over various photos, or storing votes in their account. If a voter chooses to store the votes, voter can log in to their account using their ID and password and vote at a later time. All votes must be applied to selected photos by the conclusion of the voting period to be counted.
All votes for photo submissions will be tabulated and displayed online.
Online voting will end October 31, 2014 11:59:59 PM MCT.
All photos entered will be included in the calendar. 12 ACCEPTABLE entries will be featured in the calendar’s monthly pages. Any additional photos will be featured on the “Multi picture” page(s).
The final 15 photos with the most online votes will be eligible for final judging by an independent panel for the following:

Front cover
3 full page slots
Up to 11 of the multi picture pages.

All submissions MUST be received no later than October 31, 2014.
Winners will be announced on our website by November 8th 2014.
All winners will receive a free calendar.
We plan for the 2015 DRNM calendar to be available for distribution to winners and for sale by December 1, 2014. Information about purchasing calendars will be available on DRNM’s website and Facebook page.
Contest donations are processed by a secure (SSL, PCI-Compliant) payment processor. You can donate using all major credit cards and Visa and MasterCard debit cards.
Registration information shared by participants when creating an account to submit a photo entry will be kept strictly confidential by Doberman Rescue of New Mexico.

PHOTO CRITERIA

Colored photos ONLY.
Photos must be LANDSCAPE (HORIZONTAL). To be considered for full page slots. Portrait & Landscape photos may be “cropped” if possible for the multi picture pages or rejected.
Photos will need be available if selected to go in the calendar 10" wide by 8" high. At 300 dpi
No people, only Dobermans.
Photos must be no less than 300 DPI (dots per inch) and JPEG (.jpg) format only
Copyrighted or professional photos must be accompanied by authorization from the photographer. An email from the photographer giving permission to be published in our DRNM 2015 Calendar. ALL PHOTOS BECOME THE PROPERTY OF Doberman Rescue of New Mexico and For the Love of Dobermans Entrants grant Doberman Rescue of New Mexico and For the Love of Dobermans to utilization of each submitted photo on the Doberman Rescue of New Mexico & For the Love of Dobermans website and in advertising and promotional materials without compensation or permission. Doberman Rescue of New Mexico & For the Love of Dobermans reserves the right to modify these rules without prior notification.
