Jeni, Rescue Extraordinaire

Jeni was surrendered to Animal Humane New Mexico along with a second family dog for unknown reasons. She was adopted shortly thereafter, but her new owner found herself in foreclosure and soon to lose her home. She brought Jeni to the 2013 OctDoberfest and at that time, Jeni met Boni as she was leaving. As fate would have it, Boni was ready to bring another rescue Doberman into her family -- and preferred senior dogs. Jeni joined Boni and family in November 2013 and has been a wonderful addition. She absolutely LOVES visiting the dog park and laying down in the wading pool. She shares her home with 2 other Doberman "wannabes" -- Gertie (black/tan longhair Dachshund mix), and Kiwi (black/tan Chihuahua / Pomeranian mix).
