After his owner's death, Guinness went into Doberman rescue, and then suffered an injury that left him crippled. I was searching for the oldest and least adoptable Doberman, having lost my beloved 16 year-old Dobi six months previous. Aadopting Guinness helped me work thru the grief of losing a beloved dog.

A true gentleman, Guinness enjoys his new life, running on 2 acres, lounging in the parlour and snuggling on the sofa. Recently, he welcomed another old, 'unadoptable' Doberman into our home.

Almost 12 years old, Guinness is vigorous and regal as ever.
