Sadie came from Houston Texas, got adopted out through DRM. Then got hit by a car and had to have a leg amputated. Then the owner re-surendered back to DRM. We got asked to foster her and she was a terrified mess. We got training on PTDS, fell in Love with her and foster failed. She became my heart dog and Loved our family. Then last year she came up lame and a CT scan revealed that she had been shot by 2 shotguns as she still had the pellets in her everywhere and we got the real devastating news that she has terminal hemangiosarcoma and has 3-6 months left if we do the surgery and IV Chemo. ELEVEN months, the surgery , 5 rounds of chemo and $30,000 later she is still happy, fighting with us and Loving life. We thank the Lord for his mercy every day!
