I adopted Porter from Carver Scott Humane Society October, 2008.
We did not have his actual birth date, only that he was 1.5 years old.

He was an amazing dog for us. He loved to snuggle, sit in the sun, hang out on the couch or bed with us, go for walks and was wonderful with our cats.

He was just shy of his 12th birthday, when he past away suddenly and unexpectedly after just diagnosing heart disease 5 days before he died. He past away after a relaxing morning outside in the back yard and a walk around the park. He came to me and collapsed in my arms. He will always be in my heart!
