A little about me...
Hello, I'm Figaro, or Figapotomaus, as Mom and Dad call me. I turned 14 years old this year and despite my distinguished age, Mom and Dad still call me their baby. After almost nine years of ruling the roost, I still have to remind them my food dish is empty, I require pets every 15min, and give them daily mini baths (as if cleaning myself wasn't time consuming enough). If my schedule is too packed, I make sure the birds and chipmunks outside know who's in charge.

A few months before my 14th birthday this year, I didn't feel so great so Mom and Dad took me into the vet. Come to find out, I had diabetes. I've had my good weeks and bad weeks, but Mom and Dad have been by my side every step of the way. The only bonus now is that I get extra licky treats for vet appointments and pills. It isn't all so bad.

Anyways, thanks for stopping by and reading a little about me. It's about that time to remind Mom and Dad it's breakfast time, again. I'm sure they'll get the hang of it some day.
