Please include a short paragraph that tells voters something fun or interesting about the cat(s) and other animals in the photo. Which cat is diabetic? Is one or more a DCIN rescue? How long have the animals been a part of your family? Give some interesting information about the animal(s) in the photo that will encourage others to vote for your photo.
I took Max (FKA Ace) to foster from the local shelter in mid-July 2019 - he wasn't doing well at the shelter, and I had recently lost my heart-kitty Squeaker to lymphoma, giving me an open spot in my home. Well, Max quickly inserted himself into my heart and became my 3rd foster fail! He's happy hanging out with my other 5 cats.

He has recently been diagnosed with severe IBD, likely chronic pancreatitis, and EPI, which means I need to be even more careful than usual with his diet. He's doing pretty well, though, and he's such a sweet kitty that he isn't bothered too much by all my woman-handling!

In spite of the fact that his former people surrendered him for "being a jerk," Max is the sweetest, best kitty anyone could ever want. He's become my shadow, following me everywhere in the house. I am so grateful to have this extra-sweet cat in my life!
