We’ve had Bean since he was a kitten. I’ve loved black cats since I was a child. 13 years ago, we moved to Denver and I saw my neighbor’s black cat in the window. I said, “ That’s it! It’s my turn to get a cat! And I want a black kitten.” We went to the grocery store that very afternoon and a woman in the parking lot was giving away black kittens! We named him Bean after the children’s picture book, “No Bean No!”
He was diagnosed with diabetes this August. This is his testing (and tuna) box. He gets in on his own at testing time.
