Trinity is a rescue who has been a part of my family for approx. 11yrs and has been with me since the earliest time she could be on her own and away from her mother. I discovered her diabetes after a terrible bout with acute pancreatitis which I believe was caused by exposure to outdoor pesticides. Her illness tried to escorted her across the rainbow bridge, but she has a lot of fight in her. Her recovery has been a blessing in that she and I have a stronger bond. I have a better understanding of feline health and behavior. I have learned what to look for when she is not feeling well and when she is feeling not so well I'm better able to quickly get her feeling better. She has mostly been an indoor cat all her life, but with a new house comes a yard which allows her to be outside safely. She is learning what "outside" means. On the day of the pic I put her on the front porch while I weeded the landscaping in front of it. It didn't take her too long to offer her assistance in the shrubs.
