Harvey was a feisty Abyssinian that got Feline Diabetes due to the steroids he was given to treat his intestinal lymphoma. He was MY cat and didn't want anything to do with my husband. Because of the arthritis in my hands, I had trouble giving insulin shots, so my husband handled the duty for our two FD cats. In the morning before he went to work, he would spend five minutes chasing Harvey around the house. Then he would come wake me up. I would stumble down the stair, walk right over to Harvey, pick him up and hand him to my husband. I think Harvey thought it was a great game. My hubby, not so much.
