About this extra-sweet kitty
Matzo means "cat" in Bulgarian. For over 12 years he lived with a young lady who came to this country from Bulgaria and lived here for 13 years under a visa. She loved and took very good care of this cat who she rescued as a stray kitten. Unfortunately in 2018, under the current administration, she could not remain in this country even though she had lived an exemplary life. She had to go back to Bulgaria and live with her parents and unfortunately she could not have her beloved cat there. She was desperate to find him a home and I agreed to take him and care for him until she could make arrangements to have her with him. Matzo was difficult initially as he would not eat let alone let me test him or give him insulin. After a couple weeks and a visit from his owner he was receptive to me testing. He has been with me for over a year now and is a very good boy who is easy to test and takes his shots well. He will always have a home with me.
