About this extra-sweet kitty
Cherokee...aka Itty Bitty Kitty aka Floofy Cat aka Sweet Cat (literally)...was diagnosed over the summer with diabetes. He is a 10yr old pure bred Somali that I acquired when his owner couldn’t help him any longer. He was very sick with inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) It is likely all the years of drugs he was on for the IBD contributed to his diabetes. But, it doesn’t get him down! Cherokee is the most lovable cat I have ever know! He likes to climb up on my shoulders and ride around; my constant companion. Diabetes has been challenging but he purrs through all of the testing and shots like a champ!
