About this extra-sweet kitty
Sophie came into our home as a diabetic kitty adopted from the local shelter. Nothing seemed to help regulate her, and we discovered she had acromegaly. She had surgery in September of 2018 to remove her pituitary gland and the pesky tumor that was causing all of her problems. She is healthy and happy, and has been off insulin since less than 2 months after her surgery.
